How to say 'I want to drink beer' in Chinese?

DRINKING CULTURE IN CHINA/TAIWAN

  我-要-喝...
   wǒ-yào-hē...

Drinking culture in Taiwan (same as in China) can be quite essential particularly when talking about business. You would normally be invited to have a drink at KTVs after a business presentation or a business talk. Taiwanese people believe that this could increase a better chance of the future cooperation in business.

When drinking with Taiwanese people, they would ask you 'nǐ-yào- hē-shén-mē?' ,meaning 'what would you like to drink?' nǐ-yào literally means you-want; , (sounds like her), means drink. And shén-mē means what.

So, how do you respond? You can say, wǒ-yào-hē+ name of the drink , meaning 'I would like to drink ...'wǒ-yào means I-want. means drink.

Are you ready to order? 😁
